Casey Putsch grew up in Tiffin, Ohio, descended from generations of veterans and small business owners. A third-generation Ohio State University alumnus, he is an inventor and entrepreneur best known for creating the Omega Car — a vehicle that achieves 104 miles per gallon. He founded the Genius Garage Educational Program, investing over 10,000 hours teaching young adults practical engineering and car-building skills. The program has been recognized by multiple U.S. presidents for helping Ohio youth develop real-world competencies and pathways to employment. His campaign slogan is Save Ohio. He is running alongside lieutenant governor candidate Kim Georgeton, a 30-year business veteran with senior Amazon and tech startup CEO experience.
