Candidate

Title

Bernard Taylor

FL-21 Congressional Candidate
Democrat

Bio

Bernard Taylor is a fourth-generation Floridian and lifelong first responder who has served his community as an EMT, paramedic, and firefighter across the Florida Treasure Coast. A father of five, Taylor has never held elected office — his entire career has been spent on the front lines of public safety. He is running for Florida's 21st Congressional District challenging incumbent Rep. Brian Mast. His campaign has taken zero dollars from AIPAC or any corporate PAC, funded entirely by individual contributors. He is officially endorsed by Track AIPAC for his refusal to accept foreign lobby money.

Platform

Healthcare: Protect Medicare and Medicaid. Expand urgent care access in underserved areas. Invest in telehealth and mental health infrastructure. Education: Fully fund public schools. Support teachers. Expand STEM and career pathway programs for every zip code. Economic Opportunity: Create jobs, invest in local small businesses, expand job training programs, and support living wages for working families. Housing: Make housing affordable and accessible for every family on the Treasure Coast. Foreign Policy: Zero AIPAC funding. Represent America only — not foreign governments or lobbies. Incumbent Brian Mast accepted over $2 million from AIPAC and wore an Israeli military uniform to Congress. Taylor will only represent the people of FL-21. Workers Rights: Government must stand with working people, not corporate interests.

AFU Statment

Bernard Taylor is a working man who never sought power — he sought to serve. As a first responder, he answered the call every single day. Now he is answering it again in Congress. He has taken zero dollars from AIPAC and promises to represent only the people of his district. That kind of independence is exactly what America First United stands for, regardless of party.
